I saw this today and couldn’t resist sharing. I mean COME ON. Who wouldn’t love to have one of these sitting in their garage? Mercedes teamed up with the defense contractor EADS to bring the world this amazing machine. With a top speed of 93mph and a payload capacity of 1.4 tons this is one nimble powerhouse. It also boasts a full steel body with a modular armor system that includes a beefy mine deflector built into the floor. The one pictured was fitted by EADS with a vehicle data recorded, integrated UHF/VHF communications system, integrated mobile command/control and a jamming system. Unfortunately I can’t find any price or indication that they are offering these to civilians but I am sure if you are some sort of millionaire you could make a call and pick one of these up, just be sure to order one for me.
